Open Position

The Virtual Mentor has piloted a Minorities in Medicine Program which takes Black, Latinx, and First-Gen pre-med students and matches them with a physician mentor which can provide advice and support in their pre-med journeys, all done virtually. This position is open to med students to present content for those involved in the program. The content will take the form of a monthly webinar (1-2 hours) which will focus on one topic each month. Medical students will be able to work in a team with us to prepare and plan this webinar once a month. We hope this opportunity can be a way to interact with the mentees, support those underrepresented in medicine, and demonstrate a dedication to mentoring which can be showcased in future applications. Thank you and we look forward to your interest.
